gotta have it
I just can't explain how much I want this dress.
Pros:
I have nothing to wear on vacation.
It's green.
It's a halter top dress.
I get a little shiver every time I look at it...kind of like kissing someone for the first time.
Cons:
I have to mail order it...no trying on.
It's $150.
I don't have $150.
Do the pros have it??
Damn you, anthropologie, damn you!!!!

RA's new assistant yearns for this dress too. I almost had the same conversation with her about it on Tuesday! Funny world. Anyway, you deserve a treat, and vacation is an excellent reason for a new dress!
I feel compelled for some reason to remind you of the time you saw that dress in Key West and you loved it but it was expensive and so you didn't buy it but then you regretted it and then you talked about that dress ALL YEAR until we went back there the next summer and found the same dress and you bought it, but then when you actually had it you were like, "Meh...it's not so great..."
Some things are better in your head than in your closet.
On the other hand, it's a great dress. And it's green.
I think this might definitely be a "it's better in your head than in your closet dress."
But...what if I'm wrong? What if it's the dress that makes me look ten inches taller with long legs? What if it's the perfect material to swoosh around your ankles? What if it's my favorite thing to wear for the next five years???
With my passion for dwelling on lost opportunities, this one might just drive me insane.
Take a trip tp Boston, go to the Atrium mall in Brookline, and try it on--who needs a better excuse to visit Beantown than a fab dress? Oh, and you should probably say hi to RB while there . . .
